Miami certainly has a wild vibe, but there’s nowhere better than the neighborhood of South Beach for a crazy day. Take a tour of the area or get to your next stop for just 25 cents on the South Beach Local bus. Swing down Lincoln Road for some midday shopping or to catch a show.
Get some sun and continue your day on the sand. Lummus Park is what you’re thinking of when you imagine Miami Beach, thanks to its role in dozens of films and television shows. It’s tough to find a public beach more beautiful than this.
From sushi to pizza, the local food has all of your old favorites and a couple new ones. If you’re in Miami during stone crab season (October-May), make sure to give this local delicacy a try. The Cuban restaurants in the area are always a great choice, or spice things up with some jerk chicken in Little Haiti.
Hop on over to the nearby Wynwood Arts District after you eat to browse the galleries or check out the Wynwood Walls, a sprawling open-air street art collection.
These are just a few of the awesome things South Beach has to offer. There’s plenty more to explore and new spots to discover, so get out there and Ride the Wild!
